1. Personnel training
Theoretical knowledge learning: Operators should have a deep understanding of the structure, principle and working process of Wood Plastic Machine. Be familiar with the functions of each part of the machine, such as how the screw conveys and mixes raw materials, how the heating and cooling system controls the temperature, etc. At the same time, clarify the safety range of different parameters and know the dangers that may be caused by exceeding the range.
Practical operation training: Conduct practical operation training, including correct startup and shutdown steps, and smooth feeding operation. Employees should learn how to properly handle equipment failures and how to emergency brake in case of emergency. In addition, when cleaning the equipment, be sure to turn off the power first and wait until the equipment cools down before proceeding to prevent burns and mechanical injuries.
2. Safety protection facilities
Physical protection devices: Install guardrails and protective covers around the dangerous areas of the machine, such as rotating screws and transmission parts. The guardrails should be high and strong enough, and the protective covers should be transparent and strong, which can prevent personnel from contacting dangerous parts and facilitate observation of equipment operation.
Emergency brake and interlocking system: Install emergency brake buttons to quickly stop the machine in emergency situations such as material blockage and abnormal vibration of equipment. Set up safety interlocks, such as opening the protective cover to automatically shut down the equipment, to prevent people from contacting dangerous areas when the equipment is running. These devices should be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure their normal operation.
3. Environmental safety
Ventilation facilities: Because the production process may produce harmful gases, an effective ventilation system should be installed. Timely discharge harmful gases in the workshop, such as volatile organic compounds produced by heating plastics, and regularly clean the ventilation ducts to ensure good ventilation.
Fire-fighting facilities and passages: Since plastics are flammable, the workshop should be equipped with sufficient fire-fighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers, fire-fighting sand, etc. Clear fire passages should also be set up to facilitate personnel evacuation and fire trucks to enter. At the same time, regularly check electrical equipment to prevent fire hazards, and prohibit dangerous behaviors such as smoking in the workshop.
