1. Application of temperature sensor
Temperature sensor is the core tool for monitoring the temperature change of the extruder. Common types include thermocouples, infrared temperature sensors, etc.
Thermocouple sensor: usually installed in key parts of the extruder such as the barrel, head and mold, and can measure and feedback temperature data in real time.
Infrared temperature sensor: suitable for non-contact measurement, especially for measuring high temperature or difficult-to-reach areas.
2. Control system and feedback mechanism
PID control: through proportional (P), integral (I) and differential (D) adjustment, the control system automatically adjusts the heating and cooling system according to the temperature value fed back by the temperature sensor to maintain the set temperature.
Microcontroller or PLC control: use microcontroller or programmable logic controller (PLC) to receive the signal of the temperature sensor and adjust the temperature according to the preset algorithm.
3. Data transmission and display
Local display: the temperature value fed back by the temperature sensor can be directly displayed on the LED display, which is convenient for operators to monitor in real time.
Remote monitoring: through USB, RS232 interface or wireless network, the temperature data is transmitted to the computer or other monitoring equipment to realize remote monitoring and data recording.
4. Specific implementation of temperature monitoring system
System architecture: A complete temperature monitoring system usually includes temperature sensors, control devices (such as PLC or single-chip microcomputer), heating and cooling systems, and data transmission and display devices.
Real-time monitoring and alarm: The system can monitor the temperature of each heating section in real time, and issue an alarm when the temperature is abnormal, and automatically adjust the heating or cooling system.
5. Optimization and maintenance
Regular calibration: Regularly calibrate the temperature sensor and control system to ensure the accuracy of measurement and control.
Data analysis: Use the data recorded by the monitoring system to perform trend analysis, optimize temperature settings, and improve production efficiency.
