What are the key technical parameters of PVC Gutter Extruder?

1. Screw parameters
Screw diameter: The screw diameter is a key factor that directly affects the extrusion volume. Generally speaking, the larger the screw diameter, the greater the extrusion volume.
Screw aspect ratio: The aspect ratio is the ratio of the effective length of the screw to the diameter. The size of the aspect ratio determines the residence time and mixing degree of the PVC raw material in the screw. A higher aspect ratio means that the raw material has a longer residence time in the screw, which can make the PVC raw material more fully plasticized and mixed, thereby improving the product quality. This is especially important for the production of high-quality and high-dimensional precision PVC eaves gutters.
Screw speed: The screw speed range affects the extrusion speed and production efficiency. Different PVC Gutter Extruders have different screw speed ranges, usually between 10-100 rpm. The appropriate screw speed can ensure that the PVC raw material is evenly pushed forward in the barrel and stably extruded at the die head to form the eaves gutter shape.
2. Barrel parameters
Barrel heating power and temperature range: The barrel heating power determines its heating rate and the maximum temperature that can be reached. The heating power is generally between 5-20kW, and the temperature range is usually 140-220℃. This is because PVC materials can achieve good plasticization within this temperature range. Accurate temperature control is crucial to the quality of PVC gutters. Too high temperature will cause PVC to decompose, and too low temperature will make extrusion difficult.
Barrel cooling method and efficiency: The barrel cooling system is mainly used to control the barrel temperature to prevent the temperature from being too high. Common cooling methods are air cooling and water cooling. Air cooling has a relatively slow cooling speed, but a simple structure; water cooling has a high cooling efficiency, but care needs to be taken to prevent water leakage. Cooling efficiency directly affects the stability of the barrel temperature, which in turn affects product quality.
3. Die parameters
Die structure and shape: The structure and shape of the die are the key to determining the final shape and dimensional accuracy of the PVC gutter. For example, for gutters of different shapes (such as semicircular, square, etc.) and size requirements, different customized die heads are required. The flow channel design inside the die is also very important. A reasonable flow channel can make the PVC material extrude evenly and avoid quality problems such as uneven thickness.
Die outlet size and accuracy: The die outlet size directly corresponds to the finished size of the PVC gutter. Its accuracy requirements are high, and the general dimensional tolerance is controlled between ±0.1 - ±0.3mm to ensure that the produced gutter size meets the standard requirements and can be installed and used smoothly.
