1. Daily cleaning
Extruder cleaning: Clean the barrel and screw of the extruder regularly. After the production is completed, when the remaining plastic raw materials in the barrel are cooled, they should be removed in time. Special tools such as copper brushes and other soft tools can be used to avoid scratching the screw and barrel. For the residual materials on the screw, they should be cleaned carefully, because these residual materials may be carbonized during the next production, affecting the quality of the plastic and the performance of the extruder.
Clean the dust on the surface of the heating and cooling system of the extruder. Dust accumulation may affect the heating and heat dissipation efficiency, resulting in inaccurate temperature control.
Mold cleaning: After each production, the extrusion mold should be cleaned. Clean the residual plastic inside the mold to prevent it from solidifying in the mold and affecting the next use. The mold can be cleaned with an appropriate solvent to ensure that the mold cavity is clean and smooth. At the same time, check the seals of the mold. If they are damaged or aged, they should be replaced in time to ensure the sealing of the mold and prevent the plastic melt from leaking.
Cooling system and traction device cleaning: The cooling water tank should be cleaned of scale and debris regularly. Scale will reduce cooling efficiency, and debris may scratch the pipe. The fan blades and filter screen of the air cooling device should also be cleaned regularly to ensure the normal operation and ventilation effect of the fan. The traction wheel and fixture surface of the traction device should be kept clean to prevent impurities from affecting the traction and surface quality of the pipe.
2. Equipment inspection and maintenance
Mechanical parts inspection: Regularly check the wear of the extruder screw and the transmission parts of the traction device (such as motors, reducers, chains, etc.).
Check whether the various connection parts of the equipment are loose. For example, the connecting bolts between the extruder, mold, cooling system and traction device, etc., if loose, should be tightened in time to prevent equipment vibration, displacement, etc. during the production process, affecting the quality of the pipe and production safety.
Electrical system maintenance: Regularly check the electrical system of the equipment, including electrical components and wire connections in the control cabinet. Check whether the electrical components have signs of overheating and burning, and whether the wires are damaged or aged. Clean the electrical system to prevent dust and moisture from affecting electrical performance. At the same time, it is necessary to regularly calibrate monitoring equipment such as temperature sensors and pressure sensors to ensure their accuracy and provide reliable data for parameter control during the production process.
