Product Composition

 

1. Extruder barrel and screw: The barrel is equipped with a screw to melt and convey the CPVC resin. The screw design may be different from conventional PVC extrusion systems to accommodate the different material properties of CPVC.
2. Die: The die shapes the molten CPVC into the required pipe size, which varies with the application.
3. Cooling tank: A water or air cooling system is used to solidify the CPVC pipe after extrusion.
4. Vacuum sizing tank: Used to calibrate the pipe size and ensure a smooth and consistent surface.
5. Puller: A system that pulls the pipe through the extruder at a constant speed to ensure uniform length and consistent extrusion.
6. Cutter: Cuts the continuous pipe into the required length.

 

Working Principle

 

CPVC material in the form of granules or powder is fed into the barrel of the extruder along with necessary additives. The barrel is heated, and the screw rotates to generate friction and pressure to melt and homogenize the material while pushing the material forward. The molten material is extruded through the die head at the front end of the extruder to form a tube. The tube is then sized by a vacuum sizing tank and cooled and solidified by a cooling tank. The traction device then pulls the tube at a constant speed, and finally, the cutting device cuts the tube into the required length.

 

Maintenance

 

1. Regular lubrication: Regularly check and maintain the lubrication system to ensure that all moving parts are properly lubricated to reduce wear.
2. Cleaning: Regularly clean the equipment, especially the inside of the barrel, screw, and die head, remove residual materials, and prevent material accumulation and agglomeration.
3. Inspection of heating and cooling elements: Regularly check the heating and cooling elements to ensure that they are working properly. Replace any damaged heating belts, heaters, or cooling components in time.
4. Fastener tightening: Regularly check and tighten all fasteners to prevent loosening, otherwise it will affect the stability and operation of the equipment.
