1. Before starting the machine
Inspect the equipment thoroughly: Carefully check all parts of the extruder, including the screw, barrel, heating and cooling system, transmission device, electrical control system, etc., to ensure that they are in good working condition, without looseness, damage or leakage.
Confirm the raw material preparation: Check whether the plastic raw materials meet the production requirements, including particle size, dryness, etc. Ensure that the raw materials are sufficient and of stable quality to avoid affecting production due to raw material problems.
Safety protection inspection: Confirm whether the safety protection devices, such as emergency stop buttons, protective covers, etc., are intact and in the correct position to ensure the safety of operators.
2. During the startup process
Gradual heating: After starting the heating system, the temperature should be gradually increased according to the process requirements to avoid excessive heating causing equipment damage or raw material decomposition. Closely observe the temperature display to ensure that the temperature of each part reaches the set value and stabilizes before proceeding to the next step.
Start the screw slowly: When starting the screw, it should be accelerated slowly to avoid instantaneous high loads from impacting the transmission system. Observe the current changes to ensure that the screw runs smoothly without abnormal noise and vibration.
Uniform feeding: Feeding should be uniform and continuous to avoid adding too much raw material at one time, which may cause blockage or screw overload. You can use an automatic feeding device or master the rhythm of manual feeding.
3. During operation
Closely monitor parameters: Always pay attention to the various operating parameters of the extruder, such as temperature, pressure, screw speed, current, etc. Any abnormal changes in any parameters may indicate equipment failure or production problems, and should be adjusted or stopped for inspection in time.
Prevent overheating: Ensure that the heating and cooling system is working properly to prevent overheating of the barrel and screw. If the temperature is found to be too high, check whether the cooling system is operating normally in time, and take corresponding cooling measures.
Pay attention to product quality: Regularly check the quality of extruded products, including size, appearance, performance, etc. If quality problems are found, adjust the process parameters or check the equipment components in time.
Safe operation: Operators must not leave their posts without authorization, and pay attention to the operation of the equipment and the surrounding environment at any time to prevent accidents. It is strictly forbidden to repair or debug the equipment while it is running.
4. When shutting down
Orderly shutdown: When shutting down, you should stop feeding first, then gradually reduce the screw speed to zero, and then turn off the heating system and transmission system. After waiting for the barrel temperature to drop to the appropriate temperature, clean up the residual raw materials in the equipment.
Cleaning and maintenance: After shutting down, clean all parts of the extruder in time, including the screw, barrel, mold, etc., to remove residual plastic and impurities. Perform necessary maintenance on the equipment, such as adding lubricating oil, checking wearing parts, etc.
Record data: Record various parameters and production conditions before shutdown for reference and analysis when starting up next time. At the same time, summarize the problems encountered during the operation of the equipment so as to solve and improve them in time.
