The operation process of Plastic extrusion Machine is as follows:
1. Preparation before starting
Inspect equipment: Check whether all parts of the extruder are intact, including screw, barrel, heating and cooling system, transmission system, electrical control system, etc. Ensure that the equipment is not damaged, loose or leaking.
Clean equipment: Clean the residual plastic and impurities in the barrel, screw and mold, and keep the equipment clean. You can use a special detergent or solvent for cleaning.
Prepare raw materials: Prepare the required plastic raw materials according to production requirements, and ensure that the quality and dryness of the raw materials meet the requirements. If the raw materials need to be dried, they should be dried in advance.
Install mold: According to the type of plastic products to be produced, select a suitable mold and install it correctly on the extruder. Ensure that the mold is firmly installed and tightly connected to the barrel and screw.
2. Start operation
Turn on the power: Turn on the power switch of the extruder and connect the power.
Preheating equipment: Start the heating system to preheat the barrel. According to the characteristics and process requirements of the plastic raw materials, set the appropriate heating temperature and wait for the barrel temperature to reach the set value. The preheating time is generally about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Start the drive system: When the barrel temperature reaches the set value, start the drive system of the extruder to make the screw start to rotate. Gradually increase the screw speed to the set value and observe the operation of the equipment.
Feeding: Add the prepared plastic raw materials into the hopper of the extruder. Automatic or manual feeding can be used, but attention should be paid to the uniformity and continuity of feeding to avoid overfeeding or underfeeding.
Adjust process parameters: According to production conditions, adjust the process parameters of the extruder, such as screw speed, extrusion pressure, temperature, etc. By observing the quality and appearance of the extruded products, continuously optimize the process parameters to achieve the best production effect.
3. Operation monitoring
Observe the operating status of the equipment: During the operation of the extruder, closely observe the operating status of the equipment, including changes in parameters such as screw speed, extrusion pressure, temperature, and current. If abnormal conditions are found, the machine should be stopped in time for inspection and troubleshooting.
Check product quality: Regularly check the quality of extruded products, including size, appearance, performance, etc. If product quality problems are found, process parameters should be adjusted or equipment components should be checked in time to ensure that product quality meets the requirements.
Clean up waste: Clean up waste and defective products generated during extrusion in time to keep the production site clean.
4. Shutdown operation
Stop feeding: When the production task is completed or shutdown is required, first stop feeding the extruder.
Reduce screw speed: Gradually reduce the screw speed to zero, and then turn off the drive system.
Turn off the heating system: After the barrel temperature drops to an appropriate temperature, turn off the heating system.
Clean up equipment: Clean up the residual plastic in the barrel, screw, mold and other parts to prepare for the next start-up.
Turn off the power: Finally turn off the power switch of the extruder and cut off the power.
